Pre-Fall Outfit Inspiration

Fall is my absolute favorite season to dress for. I love the warm colors, the coziness, and allll the layers (jackets are the best, aren’t they?). Although it’s not quite cool enough to start dressing in full out fall attire, it’s *almost* time. Here is some pre-fall outfit inspiration!

Canadian Tuxedo with Flare

Jeans are a sure sign that fall is coming. I paired it with a super fun sparkly knit tank from J. Crew, and some shimmery gold heels. Balance is a great tool when transitioning between seasons, especially when it’s still warm. Open-toed shoes and sleeveless tops are great ways to balance out a full pant. Since it’s still warm, I draped my denim jacket over my shoulders instead of wearing it normally.

Fall Personified

The way I felt in this outfit… I felt unstoppable. I don’t think I’ve ever felt so confident, so chic in an outfit other than this one. I’m in my warm colors, I’m wearing a tonal outfit, and I am just loving life! Wearing a tonal/monochromatic outfit is a great way to look put together. My outfit is actually a bit more analogous - some rich yellows, browns, and a maroon bag. Another balancing act - a mini skirt with a draped blazer and booties.

Camo Femme

I recently got these amazing camo pants from Anthropologie. Camo is a masculine pattern, so I really loved the added bows at the ankles. Since it was a feminine touch, I paired it with a white, pearl trimmed tank, and gold heels. To even out the feminine touches, I draped on a distressed denim jacket. Voila!

I can’t wait for fall, but pre-fall outfits are second best.
