March Favorites

March has been another great month full of photo shoots, shopping, family, and going out to eat. I feel like we’re getting back into the rhythm of normal life since having Sienna - it’s probably also coming out of the hibernation of winter. Here’s some of my March favorites!

Restaurant

My cousin just moved to town, so we met up with him and his boyfriend at The Perch in Logan Square! I don’t eat over in Logan Square often, but this place was so cute AND the food was delicious! With this spot, Lardon, and Machine Engineered Dining all being hits, I’m going to have to come over to Logan Square more often!

TV Show

So we’ve actually been watching a lot of shows this spring season, so I doubt I’ll be able to narrow it down to just one favorite show. So far, we’re loving Tokyo Vice, Shogun, and Abbott Elementary.

Experience

A friend and I went to do some painting over at Shot of Art this month. It was so much fun! Think Princess Diaries when Mia throws darts at paint filled balloons with her mom. It was like that, except we shot them with bb-guns.

Event

My friend hosted an Oscars themed birthday party with a black tie dress code. It was so much fun getting dressed up and celebrating her! We ate some great food, played charades, and at the end of the night, voted for our own Oscar winners at the party. I won best dressed, Sienna won most adorable, and Jason won 2 awards - most likely to host, and most likely to get slapped by Will Smith. LOL

Clothing Finds

I got some good finds from both Anthropologie and Loft - all on sale. I found a gorgeous sheer olive top from Anthropologie with puffed cuff sleeves. It was a little too expensive when I tried it on in store, so I waited for it to go on sale sale, and it did! Loft was having their spring sale, so I purchased some good stuff from them - I haven’t shopped there in a while and was pleasantly surprised! I’ve been noticing sweater polos are very much in this spring, for both men and women. Jason also got some sweater polos from American Eagle. Trip

While I don’t recommend going to Springfield for a getaway, I do recommend meeting up with family! I met my sister and her kids there so they could meet Sienna - we had such a great time and it was so sweet to see the kids love my baby so much. My youngest niece, Loreyna, claimed Sienna as her own baby. It’s a miracle I was able to take Sienna back home with me.
