Hotel Milo - A Boutique Hotel in Santa Barbara

The last time Jason and I were in California, we decided to take an overnight trip to Santa Barbara. We were really inspired by Jeff Shelton’s architecture and wanted to see it in person! We had heard about Santa Barbara being a relaxing getaway, so we figured we had nothing to lose.

Once we decided when we were going, I decided to reach out to some hotels to see if they would be willing to collaborate with me for a one night stay in exchange for social media content. Thankfully, Hotel Milo agreed and we ended up having an amazing time!

Hotel Milo is located right across from the beach. I happened to wake up early during our stay and witnessed an incredible ocean sunrise from their rooftop. One of the many cool amenities Hotel Milo has is their rooftops - their 2 story property is spread out across 2 blocks, and there are multiple micro rooftops easily accessible and ready with lounging couches and firepits.

Not only do they have firepits on their rooftops, but on the ground level. They have a huge grassy lawn lines with giant palm trees, and firepits to get cozy by.

Inside the desk area, they have a snack bar. You can get items from local businesses, as well as a bottle of wine.

There are also 2 pools on their property and 1 hot tub. We went to both, and found it really convenient since one pool had an energetic family in it, and the other pool was totally deserted. It’s nice to have options!

Hotel Milo is in a great location, right across the street from the ocean. It’s also just a bike ride away from State Street, the main downtown hub. The hotel provides complimentary bikes, so Jason and I took a sunset ride down the ocean path, and also rode into town the next morning for some breakfast.

Overall, we had a great time at Hotel Milo and I would definitely stay here again!
